Evangelie Smyrniotaki is the founder, creative director and writer of the blog styleheroine.com. She's born and based in Athens, Greece. Everything started in June 2011, when she was still working at her family's business, a rental car company. Until then, her unique contact with the fashion was her always elegant and fashion forward mother. Also, fashion magazines played a major role. Influenced by the pure and minimal aesthetic of Nordic blogs, she decided to create her own. From the very beginning of her blog entry Evangelie, except from the role of the model, decided to learn all the necessary technical functions about professional photography so as her photographs look professional.
Not being a great admirer of cheap narcissism that dominates in the most fashion blogs, she managed to expose herself to the extent where the clothes and style are the main theme. Her capsule collection “Heroine by Tom Wood”, produced by the Norwegian brand Tom Wood, Evangelie has designed and she was also the creative and styling director of the campaign which has been sold out globally. She has also worked as a fashion editor at Nomas Magazine and has been the ambassador of Elie Saab for the Cannes Film Festival and of L’Officiel Italia for New York Fashion week. Last but not least, Evangelie is also one of the faces of Jimmy Choo’s latest digital campaign . σ
